David Williams

David is a trainer and management consultant with 20 years experience in Management Development, Staff Training and Personal Development.Following a career in the Home Office he has, for the past 12 years worked as a consultant with clients in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.

  • David has significant experience, knowledge and skills in Equality and Diversity and has deployed these in a creative way providing Diversity Awareness and Action Training for a wide range of clients including: several Local Authorities, police constabularies and their specialist squads/departments; Government Departments, Trades Unions, Community and Church organisations as well as private companies such as Royal Mail, Express Dairies and Siemens. His training experience includes working with theatre, open air training and action centred learning. David also has much experience of working with teams - building and developing improved performance and cohesion as well as with individuals personal development needs.

Nottingham City Council engaged Diverse Matters Ltd. to deliver 90 minute programmes for managers and employees. With a practical focus on the Social Model of disability these events strike a balance of challenge and support and give staff the confidence and strategies they need to improve service delivery and team working.
