Diversity & inclusion - why does it matter?

Endometriosis UK has commissioned Diverse Matters to conduct a series of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) focus groups to address gaps in their support provision and understand the barriers certain communities face in accessing our support services and endometriosis care.

The focus groups will help shape the future of their support services and work in this area. The organisation has identified that they wish to focus particularly on LGBTQ+ communities living with endometriosis and Black and Asian communities living with endometriosis.

Endometriosis UK is committed to supporting and advocating for everyone affected by endometriosis ensuring diversity, equity and inclusion is at the heart of every aspect of their organisation.

The focus groups will form one element of our overall work and commitment in this area, and if you are unable to take part in a focus group, there will also be opportunities to contribute in an upcoming survey.
